About Printer

XF3-40 is compatible with diverse E-Commerce platforms. On www.bixolon.com/soho support page, ways to print from each different platform can be found.
XF3-40 solely provides USB interface. It cannot be used in Mobile Devices.
Case 1. Failed the USB Cable plug and play
Disconnect the USB cable from the PC or the printer and connect again
Case 2. USB descriptors are not presented
Connect the USB cable to other port
Case 3. The spooler service is not running
Run command prompt as administrator, press the enter after typing “net stop spooler” after that type “net stop spooler” and press the enter.
Run the printer installation wizard again
Refer to the “How to Video”
If the same problem occurs after trying all the different cases above, please manually install the USB port
① Find the device manager → Universal Serial Bus controllers → Select the BIXOLON XF3-40 → Properties → Detail → Select the children → Check the USB port
*Select the model: Windows 11 (Universal Serial Bus controllers), Windows 10 (USB Printing Support)
② Run the printer installation wizard → Select the install printer driver → Select the other → Find the XF3-40 → Select the USB port number as you checked in the device manager

*Notice
The manual installation is not supported if the CPU is installed ARM CPU

Direct printing is feasible in Excel; Various labels can be printed through designed file from Label Artist software, connected to Excel.
"Diverse 1D, 2D Barcode Output can be done.
Supported types of Barcodes are as follows.
1D : Codabar, Code 39, Code 93, Code 128, EAN-13, UCC/EAN128, EAN-8, Interleaved 2-of-5, UPC-A, UPC-E
2D : Data Matrix, MaxiCode, PDF417, QR Code"
Supported image file types in Label Artist are bitmap, JPEG, GIF, PNG, and TIFF.
BIXOLON offers complimentary label designing program, Label Artist. Numerous label designs and prints can be directly done through Label Artist.
XF3-40 supports AC100-240V.

XF3-40 does not need any consumables such as ink, like any other O/A printers or printers from other manufacturers.
XF3-40 supports 203 dpi print resolution, suitable for printing high-resolution barcodes or images.
BIXOLON offers a 2-year limited warranty. 1-year warranty offered for print head.
Empty label is provided when replacing paper or calibration is being operated.
Please inquire through the site where you have purchased. Warranty service is also offered through BIXOLON's subsidiary of America.
Various types of label paper such as fan-fold, roll type can be used.
XF3-40 is a SOHO printer with compact design, exclusive for E-Commerce. Easy installing provides users with convenient usage, without much need of knowledge to operate the printer.
In the “System Preferences”, open the “Printers & Scanners”.
To add a new printer, please click on the “+” button.
Select your printer and click on the “Select Software” under the “Use”.
Search for your software, and click on the OK & Add button.
When printing a file, please setup the options properly for your Label.
Paper size 4.0” x 6.0” is most recommended.
To ensure that your printer is connected, try printing test page. Double-Click on the printer icon to open queue, and choose the “Print Test Page” under the “Printer” menu.
